Dog Poop, your pet – Have some sense and pick it up!
I am an ardent dog lover and proud owner of three indies. Dogs need to poop (do potty) and that is why we take them for a walk everyday, perhaps several times a day. It is a commitment of the pet owner to do so. But pet owners really need to have some have civic sense and pick up that dog poop as well.
Cleaning up the dog poop is your responsibility
It is the responsibility of the dog owner to clean up your dog’s poop. If there is anything that really irritating to others is when dog owners do not cleanup after their dog has done potty (poop) in the common areas of the building.
It is just civic sense that expects one to pick up the potty and clean up the place especially where everyone else walks or passes by. We all love animals, we all understand animals need to poop but does it really have to be where we walk with every chance of us stepping on it.?
The whole area gets dirty , begins to stink and is unhygienic.
I totally understand we cannot always control where our dog’s are going to poop but we can surely clean up after them.
If I am a animal lover and this is my reaction to seeing not cleaned up potty, imagine those do not like animals or pets ! . It is no wonder we pet owners are not always popular in a housing society. It is just decent civic sense to clean up your pet’s poop or potty.
Simple Tips for cleaning poop.
- Just simply use some leaves from surrounding plants and trees, pick up the poop with the leaves and bury it in a nearby flower bed or hedge, covering it up with the some mud. The poop will dry up and decompose becoming manure for the plants. For heavens sake do not destroy the hedge in this process.
2. Carry some regular toilet paper and a garbage bag every time you take the dog for a walk. After the potty is done , pick it up with the toilet paper and put it in the garbage bag and dispose of it alter.
3. Use a Poop Scooper/Picker/Collector
Buy yourself a poop scooper ato clean the dog poop. The scooper is convenient to carry and easy to use. It can be operated without too much of an effort as well. These poop scoopers can be cleaned easily after use.
We all want to live in a clean environment both inside and outside the house. Just as we clean up the dog poop inside the house, let us be responsible and clean up that poop outside the house as well !
